peace-D OFF

it was a normal day for me, with the everyday routine of waking up at 10 am. eat brunch of either bread, cereals or fried rice and fried fish (i stopped eating pork a few weeks ago, i am slowly going veggan or vegan whatever!). then read a book, watch tv and sleep. but i dont know what happened i thought of going to the beach. the weather that day was not so fine. the sky was not so clear but i analyzed that this was the perfect time to go to the beach because only a little sunlight can penetrate the earth's atmosphere and will lessen the UV... yadayadayada....

i changed into my bikini trunks, board shorts, and white shirt and packed my stuff in a native picnic basket.

i armed myself with nivea sunblock spf 30, a hammock, speedo googles, great political theories by michael curtis, my jurassic phone, some coins, a special absorbent cloth and a visor i am ready to hit the bitch, ahem, i mean the beach

i was really enjoying the view, after setting up my hammock i started drinking my not so cold sprite. haaaah, paradise at last.

but suddenly these pesky, noisy kids started playing right in front of my den and arrrghhhh! it was horrible. paradise found now lost.

i was wishing in my mind that i hope something happens and so these pesky kids would leave and booo! my wish came true. i am mean. one of the kids got hurt while playing, it was just minor abrasions and slight injuries... hehehe, kidding, . they left. the coast was clear again.

i left at around 7pm. it was dark but beautifully stunning. the sound of the gentle waves massaging the graceful sand and the sun slowly hiding in the night.

hot

this summer is just so hot.
my highschool classmates... where exactly are you?
damn. i only come here a few times a year and then you dont even care.

thats ok.
i know you are not really attached to me.
completely ok

anyways, thought of posting something.

i went to the beach yesterday with my family, cousins.
swam for less than an hour.
so so hot.
went home ahead.
slept.

summer huh?

basement.

the question of whether or not i miss the basement in kalai is still an elusive creature that haunts me everytime i sleep at night.

honestly, until now, i don't know the answer.

though i know that i do partly miss it there are just some things that are so so so irritating that somehow overpowers the good things that happened to me.
for one, i miss my roomate. i miss the time when wakes me up and tells me that i have a class. i also miss the times when i would open the door and see that my bedsheet has been arranged again (gosh, i really have a hard time fixin that bedsheet).

i also miss some people (i know you know who you are, i hope?!).

i miss the CAs, those crazy meetings in the entertainment complex otherwise known as the simple tambayan.

but just yesterday, i finnally found the answer to this seemingly elusive question.

i do miss the basement.
and that, there are basically two questions to be answered:
1. whether i miss the basement or not?
2. whether some people left a mark on you?

and the answer for the second question is another story.

two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule?

this post is looooonnnnggggg overdue.

these are some of the pics during my friends pulangbato waterfalls adventure.
it was sooooo cooool and i really had fun. im with my high school pals and i guess this event was really needed to keep our bonds tight. really tight.

we had to travel for around 30 minutes and hike for about 15 just to get to this surreal (right spelling?) paradise. gosh, far from the noise of the city. it is what i have always wanted.
